Novel Writing — 2026–2027
The Novel Writing course is the flagship course at Primary Writers. Capable students are invited to apply for this 12-month program, which guides students through the process of writing their own complete 20,000-word novel.
Throughout the course, students will experience:
- Master workshops with Tim Harris, Belinda Murrell and Kristin Darell
- Extensive drafting and revision
- Collaborating with a freelance illustrator
- Working with a professional book designer
- Preparing a book launch speech
- Producing a complete, professional-quality novel
- Pizza and ice-cream parties!
The course runs from Term 3, 2026 to Term 2, 2027.
Booking your class
Please select your preferred Sunday class time from the available tickets above.
Each ticket represents your selected weekly Novel Writing class. You only need to select one ticket per student — you do not need to book each individual week separately.
Places are limited to 8 students per class.
Course fee: $1,350
